Well I’ve had my new 17″ unibody Macbook Pro for a full week now and I’m happy to report it’s a great computer. I plan on doing a full review once I’ve had enough time to fully experience this great new machine but in the meantime I figured I would post up some pictures. These pictures(or any picture for that matter) do not do this computer justice and I encourage everyone to check it out for yourself at your local retailer.

Lots of macrumors peeps reporting bent lids on the uMBP though they are mostly 15″ owners. How’s your one? Seems straight enough to me from the front pic. But I do notice the slightest gap just above the superdrive but maybe it’s just the light.

I have had zero issues with my macbook pro since I’ve had it. I’ve very happy with my purchase. I guess it’s how you treat it too, I am very careful with my computers so that might have something to do with it.
The 17″ MBP seems like a very impressive machine. I am on the verge of owing one myself. Despite its obvious beauty and star qualities, I am looking for performance and reliability because my intended use will be for work more than play. The expert and person-on-the-street reviews are encouraging so far. Thanks for thoughts and the pix. They are beautiful.
